The just concluded NITDEV training to upskill in 10 weeks at NitHub was amazing. This training was targeted at the undergraduates that were suddenly hit by the sad news of the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) strike that commenced in the month of February.

These selected skills were taught during the training: Ethical Hacking, UI/UX Design, Front-end web development, Back-end web development, and mobile app development. The training started March 7th and came to an end on May 26th, 2022 with 15 students in total.

Our tutors took them from a zero knowledge level to a level where they could comfortably take on any entry level tech role and possibly even intermediate level jobs. Those who started out as amateurs are now confident of the skills they've gained, and can begin to take jobs and carry them out excellently. With a series of projects and real life experiences that they underwent, we are sure that each learner is capable of taking up tasks and accomplishing them. The completion of tasks was also a criteria for certification.

At the end of the training we asked some of our students of their experience in NitHub during these 10 weeks.
Here's what they have to say:

This training was the first of its kind in NitHub and with the impeccable success, we have another cohort scheduled to start later this month. You don't want to miss the second edition of the NITDEV training!
